श्रीमद्वाल्मीकिरामायणे अयोध्याकाण्डे नवोत्तरशततमस्सर्गः  (३० श्लोक)

Jabali maharshi wanted to somehow convince ShriRaama to return to Ayodhya. Overwhelmed by this love, he resorted to atheistic arguments. Unable to tolerate atheism ShriRaama aptly replied to him:

“ShriRaama could not tolerate the atheistic and avaidic arguments presented by Jabali. He then presented systematic counter-arguments using the Shastras as reference”.

Hence we should always treat shaastras as reference and live accordingly and never get carried away by atheistic arguments however rational they may seem. (This is because we humans cannot even make observations that are holistic, leave aside inferring from them. Hence it is best to believe in Shaastras, which are given to us by the great Maharshis, who can see and know everything!)
